Welcome to the smallest 4-star hotel in Pitztal (picture gallery) in Tyrol. Did you know that the Kirchenwirt hosted the first mountain hikers in Tyrol before 1876?
At that time, of course, there were no large ski resorts like today, but hiking and mountaineering in the Pitztal was then as now a relaxing trend sport. Of course, the Pitztal looked a bit different at that time, who wanted to go to the mountains, had to make an effort, today it is much more comfortable and comfortable, the mountain railways Pitztal Rifflsee & Gletscher bring everyone to his personal summit happiness.
In 2024, we will begin with a new look and a new name and now want to embark on the next stage of our journey – more casual, purer, more classic, more genuine and, of course, still warm and valuable. We look forward to everyone who would like to accompany us on our new path!
